Why LEDs ..?
LEDs consume very less energy and reduce the electricity bill by 70% to 80%. LEDs emit more light per watt.
LEDs have a longer life estimated 35000 to 50000 hours, compared to the life of fluorescent 8000 to 10000 hours & incandescent 1000 to 2000 hours.
LEDs are considered to be a cool light. They radiate very little heat which is dispersed through the base of the LED.
LEDs light up very quickly and can be dimmed also very easily.
LEDs can be really small (smaller than 2mm) and are easily populated on printing circuit boards.
LEDs do not contain mercury or lead & do not emit UV rays
